Barranquilla is the capital of Atlantico.

Pasto is the capital of Nariño.

Barranquilla is placed in caribean, at north of colombia opposyte to Pasto that is placed in the souht of the country, Pasto is so much colder than Barranquilla because is in the top of the Galeras volcano, also Barranquilla is near to the sea.

Celebrations

The Carnival of Barranquilla are one of the most popular celebrations in colombia, the city of Barranquilla are paralyzed becouse the city gets busy with street parades, musical and dances. This carnival is celebrate between 2 and 5 of Febrary every year and thounsands of people go to the carnival.

In Pasto is celebrated the blacks and whites carnaval ( carnavla de blancos y negros ), this popular party conmemorate the race, and the people paint themself of black and white and throw flour to the others. Thos carnaval is celebrate between 2 and 6 of January.

BOGOTA AND MEDELLÍN

Bogotá is the capital city of Cundinamarca and Colombia too. Medellin is de capital city of Antioquia.

Bogota is the biggest city of Colombia however Medellin is bigger tan other cities of Colombia. In medellin people as friendly as people of Bogota. People of Bogota are usually called “cachacos” and people of Medellín are usually called “paisas”.Bogota is colder tan Medellin.

Medellín is usually called Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera (Everlasting Spring City), Capital de la Montaña (Mountain's Capital) and Ciudad de las Flores (City Of The Flowers). Bogota is colder tan Medellin.

Bogota has “transmilenio” and Medellin has “Metro de Medellin”. “Transmilenio” is as expensive than “metro de Medellin” and both public tranport are efficient but “metro de Medelli” is nicer and more comfortable tan transmilenio.
